Dinner Guest : Mastapher

A few weeks ago we invited our good friend Chris Massey to join us for dinner. Chris was one of our first customers 5 years ago and he quickly became a good friend. Chris is always willing to help us out and has done everything from getting change, making deposits and working a few shifts to helping us move the coffeehouse! He was also one of Scott's treatment drivers last Dec.-March. Thanks for all your help and friendship Massey!

The kids love Massey and he loves them. He likes to entertain them with his silly voices and singing. Noah was even in a play at Ottawa University that Chris directed in 2004. Chris learned a lot about directing children that year! He made the mistake of telling Noah (who was 6) that his character was going to be thrown off a wall and would die. Noah didn't understand that in the play his character would die but that it was just pretend. Noah got very upset and refused to be thrown from the wall! It took daddy a little while to explain what Chris REALLY meant but as long as daddy stayed close, Noah was fine. Noah had 3 performances and did a great job. Noah and Chris have been good buddies ever since.

Here are the kids with Massey. We lovingly call Chris "Mastapher" because our "sis" Emma renamed him in 2005 and we like how it sounds. Thanks for visiting us Chris. Come back soon!
