Super Bowl Weekend Highlights

It's not quite a play by play but here are our highlights.

#1 Getting to hang out with my boys on Friday night. As Eli says, "Chillaxin".
#2 Having my favorite 8 yr old ask if he could help make dinner.
#3 Having the opportunity to open at the Coffeehouse again on a Saturday. And make great tips.
#4 Having my favorite 10 yr old ask if he could come to work with me.
#5 Having that 10 yr old do his very best and work very hard, all with a great attitude!
#6 Walking in the door from work and having Lucas jump up from the couch, yell "MOMMY" and come running to the door where he leaps into my arms....that's love...
#7 Helping my boys be good sons by putting the finishing touches on their mom's birthday gift. *Hubby helped too! :)
#8 Getting some lovely alone time with my hubby that included going out to dinner.
#9 Getting TWO job interviews set for Monday!!
#10 Having my hubby NOT burn down the loft with the 1-2 ft high pan of flames from boiling grease.
#11 Eating the yummy Super Bowl food that my hubby made.
#12 Getting to hang out with my favorite 12 year old. Hearing his jokes and thoughts on life *My two favorite quotes this weekend were -"Is the Super Bowl live? & Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go rub some baby-butt oil on my lips."
#13 Picking out my interview outfit, ironing my clothes and getting my stuff ready...
#14 Having our team win the super bowl!

Photo Highlights
Isn't this a face you could love?
He likes to stare at Scott and then tap on his hand with his paw. Then he moves Scotts hand to where he wants to be scratched...he is very persistent...and the bottom shot he is sleeping with Noah on the couch while we relaxed. Sweet huh?

This is the gift that Eli made for his mom. He made some clear crystals with his Christmas crystal set and waited for them to grow for the past month. Scott helped him make the paper box and he was all set to present her with the gifts. Cool huh?
Here is the sweet boy (after being at the coffeehouse with me for 5 hours) with his gift. Such a great smile!

And the final gift was Lucas coloring his hair purple...her favorite color. Cute?
Happy Super Bowl Weekend! Go Chiefs Packers!

Thank you ladies! My first interview was 1.5 hrs long and the second was 2.5 hours! They both went great! I sent a thank you card today as well as email follow up.

And it was a nice, slow paced weekend, except for that almost burning down the loft thing...oops
