Fiona's Snow Bath

Fiona's first week at home was an eventful one. Fiona is our 1976 Fiat Spider convertible. She really missed us and didn't like living behind the coffeehouse for the past 1.5 years. I don't think Bill liked it either! We FINALLY got her to the mechanic last Saturday and wouldn't you know it...the car lot was vandalized on Sunday!! Fortunately, the kid didn't do much damage so she was easy to fix. After some TLC and some new tires she was ready for her big trip to the city. We had a little hiccup on the way home but nothing a little patience couldn't fix. Considering she hadn't run for 2 years...she did a great job! Friday was her first real test drive and she decided that she needed some more work....so $$$ later and she is as good as new! Well, maybe not but it will suffice for now.

Fiona is our old man car. She has a brown/sparkle finish with plaid/black vinyl interior. She's cool in a 1976 sort of way. Autumn doesn't appreciate how cool Fiona could be but the boys LOVE her. She is a lot of fun when it is warm outside and we can have the top down. She is not so fun in the middle of winter though! Her first week here she was covered in snow so the boys decided to clean her off.

The boys played outside for about an hour and Noah even shoveled our steps, sidewalk and driveway.

This is how they swing now-a-days... Usually, they swing towards a brother and pick them up and swing together. They just barely clear the ground....it won't last for long.
