Science City Highlights

I mentioned that we went to Science City three times in one week so I wanted to show you how cool it is. I have never been before and since we got a free pass we went as much as we could that week. We took Aunt Deanie, Uncle Mike and their two girls the first time and then twice with just our family. The kids tried everything and we really enjoyed the AC during one of the hottest weeks of the year!

When you first walk in there is a cool Melody Park with things to hit, beat, stomp on and make music with. The kids jumped around and made a LOT of noise...

Caves...

Animal pelts made into hats....

Autumn's favorite....the Chinchilla...

Uncle Mike leaving his artistic mark...

And Scott leaving his....

Exploring the heart...

Testing out the pulleys...

I'm not really sure what this is....oh wait....his leg is caught in the mouth...

Uncle Mike, Aunt Deanie and Noah built this slowly and then destroyed it quickly...

Rockets...

Cool experiments...

Super cool kids...

A great shot of cousins...

The second and third time we went the kids rode the bike that is suspended high in the air. They loved it!

There is a cloud making machine...very cool!

The haunted house had a lot of optical illusions and the kids went thru the whole house finding all of the clues and hidden things. It was very creative!

This was a super cool optical illusion...you lay down on the bed and even though its level the rest of the room isnt and by the time you try to stand up you feel like you are going to fall. It's awesome!
Lucas took a trip into space...

The last time we went we took Scott and the kids loved showing him all the cool science stuff...

The free pass was a great unexpected treat and I enjoyed Science City as much as the kids did. It's a great place to visit in Kansas City!
